I guess it’s true that some things never change. “Two of a Kind” was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid, and Shrek the Musical is now my favoritest Broadway musical of all time! What, some may ask, do an old Olsen Twins sitcom and a Broadway musical based on a children’s movie series have in common? Two words: Christopher Sieber. And what better way to combine the old and the new than with a video? For anyone who didn’t/hasn’t seen “Two of a Kind”, Kevin Burke (played by Chris Sieber, a college professor and dad of the Olsen twins) and Carrie Moore (Kevin’s studet and the twins’ babysitter) have a relationship a lot like Shrek and Fiona’s; a semi-grumpy, usually uptight guy and a carefree, energetic redhead make for a classic “love at first fight” pair. And this song is just so PERFECT for them! So, enjoy, rate, comment, and vote for Shrek at the Tony Awards this June! Unfortunately, Chris Sieber is pretty much the only guy NOT shown in the credits clip, because he’s playing Lord Farquaad in the musical. But let me assure whoever has not seen the show that his performance is no less brilliant than anyone else in the cast! For being stuck on his knees pretty much every time he’s onstage, no one can bring the house down like Chris Sieber!
