You’re trying to get me to name models that are popular enough to be seen in mainstream culture. There are no CURRENT top models that fit that. You’re thinking of the 90’s supermodels, and Gisele Bundchen was the last supermodel. As far as antm, no one knows who these models are. And asian models. Du Juan, who’s campaigned for Louis Vuitton, Armani, h&m, Tao Okamoto, who did h&m f/w, Ralph Lauren, Hye Park, Liu Wen. But I won’t get into them, since I have no more characters.

Oh, dear, I said successful. Anyone that has to do with anything ANTM fails in the fashion industry. You should maybe try looking into real models e.g, Natasha poly, Sasha PIvovarova, and etc.

Maybe you should do a look up on Mexican models there’s plenty, you might not know they’re Mexican like Yoanna on ANTM cycle 2. They don’t look like the typical Mexican but they are.

i find it rediculous that tyra banks doesnt want a male cycle because she doesnt think that ‘people will watch it’ surely it shouldnt be about how many viewers it brings in, it should be about helping people acheive their dreams, just like the female cycles…

The industry has a prejudice against hiring dark or even light skinned East-Indian/Pakistani models which precludes them from gaining momentum, except for the exception of perhaps Thomas Tevana. However, Ekwa what you said is very true; in fact I was just thinking this before coming to your post: “It will take a brave influential designer or photographer needs to make the first step and do something major to attract tons of attention and others will follow.”
