They’re beautiful …
They’re beautiful the way they are. I have alopecia too (male 15) but I wear a snowbeard beanie at school. I think I look great with my glasses on, without the hat.
I have a girlfriend too who accepts me for who I am despite her age.
Having alopecia is not that bad, you just gotta learn to live with it! You still look beautiful, and remember, personality counts more than looks!

Alopecia or not …
Alopecia or not these two girls are outstandingly beautiful. Hair loss can’t take away things like bone structure, high cheekbones, beautiful eyes and most importantly a magnetic personality!

My girlfriend has …
My girlfriend has just developed alopecia in the last few months. She lost all of her beautiful waistlength dark hair within the space of 2 weeks. She was devastated when it was all gone, but she has found the strength to deal with it and choses not to wear a wig or cover her head. I think she’s just as stunning now she’s bald and I am proud to be seen with her.

Hi roxorgirl13. Tell your mum to get tested for celiac disease as that can be a cause of alopecia.

What you look like …
What you look like shouldn’t determine how you treat someone. Treat them the way they treat you…be kind, don’t stare, have love, be empathetic. She’s beautiful no matter what.

I feel so sorry for …
I feel so sorry for those with universalis, especially females. I have alopecia areata (so far) with a large bald spot at the top of my head, for the most part I can cover up with my remaining hair which is relatively thick (though I’d really love to have a haircut in this hot weather!), but at least mine is growing back slowly. It’d take an incredible amount of mental toughness to live with this condition, so well done to you all!
