I don’t mind the models themselves being stick skinny or plus size, it’s just that these model industries are pushing the models to be so scarily skinny. I honestly think that curves make clothes look better, but that’s just me. But what that Tom guy’s saying, I agree with most of it.

You know what I think that all this about sizes need one thing…TOLERANCE. If you don´t like plus size women, let them be, you don´t like skinny people let them be. Just be tolerance, don´t look at them between the fingers and the world will be much more beautful.

@deekay13 i totally agree. then again most people aren’t reasonable enough to know that not all if any of these plus size models are in bad health. Not all plus size models are going to roll over and die from being 30 pounds over weight.

Its obvious that …
Its obvious that the plus size woman are marketing tools to sell clothing for “plus size girls”. its not like plus size models are modeling for brands that don’t sell plus size clothing. Also someone commented on the health of these models. none of these girls look unhealthy to me. they have no large amounts of excess fat around their waist. The unhealthy models are the anorexic/bulemic thin models. Any doctor would tell you that.

Someone once made a good point — that men like all types of women. Just look at all the different types of out there. But the commenter below is correct — 0-4 is considered “straight” size models, 6-20 is considered a “plus” size model. The American average is a size 14. So you can be a “plus” size model and still be smaller than the national average — or what most guys consider a “normal” model.

There also seems that non-pr0n models are absurdly skinny, while pr0n actresses tend to have a little extra to love.

I’m glad that more diversity is starting to trickle into the fashion world. It’s not right to portray that there is only one type of girl. It’s size discrimination. These women are beautiful.

agreed but there are some larger people that are perfectly happy with how they are despite health concerns. If thats the case then whatever its not for us to judge them, we could advise them to lose weight but not force them or make them feel bad for how they look, thats just wrong. If they’re happy then people should just leave them alone

I don’t understand why women pay more attention to magazines either. Why they care what people thousands of miles away think is perfect instead of listening to the men in their lives makes no sense to me. Diets should be for health reasons, not because a size 14 wants to fit into a size 3.

@logan48227 but why should they care what a magazine says?? thats what i dont get, the people in the magazine dont know these women or what their body types are yet they seem to assume that everyone is a size 3 or something and if youre bigger than that then you need to go on their “diets” to lose the extra pounds…its ridiculous…if thats not your body type dont starve yourself to try and be what the magazine says is attractive its a waste of time in my opinion
