it’s alright, but that model is just so skinny, and it only fits the stereotype :c
she’s got a lovely face though… but her skinny body, and serious facial expressions make her look more like she’s starving, than empowering.

@nectamann , Sorry, I really didn’t mean it like that at all. I’m not hating this video. By the way, you seem almost over-offensive. Any good reason to react this way?
(by the way, I kinda have the opposite problem, if you can believe it, but that isn’t anyone elses fault, it’s my own.)

Profiles are expected in a full slate. Some casting agents expect that – we taught that unless they direct you otherwise you should go with a full slate which includes profiles, but i never heard anything about doing the slow turn.
September 5th, 2010 at 12:09 pm
she said her info way too fast. I learned that you do not say your age unless asked, that way you lessen the risk of losing a part that you could play even though you might be older or younger.
September 5th, 2010 at 12:19 pm
You say your name, las name and age, when you didn’t give your information before, in a intake sheet, or resume, then is always good to say your age!
And your turns or profiles, can be different, like first slate, name, last name, age, and phone number, and right and left profile, back, and the turn to the camera, but always they casting director, is going to give you instructions,
Make sure you are open for last moment changes! Good luck in your casting!

September 5th, 2010 at 2:02 pm
In my class they said you’re supposed to say your name, age, and what role you are auditioning for. they didn’t say anything about profiles? Someone who knows please message me about this. Thanks.
