She’s not denying anything. Americans (& maybe others) claim their town of birth as their hometown, so that’s why she answered that way since it’s an American interviewer. Do you think it makes any difference to the interviewer if she’s ibo or hausa or yoruba?? As long as she said she’s Nigerian, it’s fine. As per her voice, I hear a little bit of Ibo & a tinge of British, no American at all…but who cares? Her industry loves models that have some form of accent so she has to blend in somehow

So it means EVERYONE in Lagos is default Yoruba because Lagos is yoruba land? Are you reading yourself? Last time I checked Lagos huge was a commercial centre with about 5mil people or more. You want to tell me all those people will automatically be considered Yoruba because they live in Lagos? R u just trying to sound stupid or…? This is a beautiful woman. She’s not extraordinary, but she’s beautiful. I think in the world of modeling, the point is to take someone that is a lot of times plain to the eyes and make them beautiful with clothes and makeup. That seems to be the ongoing theme in the industry. Models, as another person described it, are basically supposed to be human mannequins. Well, I think this girl makes a pretty nice mannequin, indeed. She especially has a REALLY nice body.

Agbani didn’t go nude in Nigeria. Did you read the interview, the designer for that fashion show had? Agbani’s dress slipped out and like every model, she kept going. I watch ANTM. I’m addicted to that show and so far what’ve learned from that show is no-matter what happens in the runaway, just ignore it and keep on walking.

It means me and you …
It means me and you have different taste at whose beautiful and whose not. And Agbani Darego has been featured in Italian Vogue but not sports illustrated and Victoria secret. She refuses to model in her underwear. So that cancels her off from Victoria Secret and Sports illustrated.
And comeon, Alek Wek was featured in Victoria Secret and yet that girl isn’t beautiful. To me, all they seem to care is how good your body looks and Oluchi got a great body.

oh please. Just because i think the girl is ordinary look, people just want to get offended. Goddamn, compare Oluchi to other Nigerian girls such as Genevive, Agbani, Omotola, Munachi, Yomi Abiola, Marilyn Nwene, Adaeze, Anita Uwagbele, Chinenye Ochuba, etc. All of them are beautiful to me. Oluchi is okay looking. She has a great body though; that’s about it. God just because she’s igbo doesn’t necessary mean i think she’s beautiful. I’ve met igbo girls that looks better than her.
